About Us

Here at energyXchange, we are there for you every step of your way. Our aim is to not only be your support system, but your network of people who care, who are knowledgeable and who really want to help. We have over 50 classes per week that are all based around the Mind/Body Connection, Functional Training, and Muscle Confusion. From Yoga to Pilates, to TRX and Kettlebells, we have hired the best teachers, to teach the most up to date and result driven offerings and placed them all under one roof.

Class Descriptions:

Hot Yoga
Hot yoga is a series of yoga poses touching on many different styles and is practised in a room heated up to 105 degrees. A yoga session at this temperature increases your bodies flexibility substantially. Not only will you significantly enhance your mind to body connection and aid in the release of physical and mental toxins, but you will also enhance your state of awareness considerably. All levels are welcome.

Hatha Yoga
Hatha is one of the most common and oldest styles of yoga and is ultimately what all other yoga styles stems from. This yoga uses asanas, breath and meditation to not only balance your body, but bring it together with your mind and spirit. Our Hatha yoga classes are open to all and gives the students modifications to challenge the advanced, while still being beneficial to the beginner.

Power Yoga
This class is fast paced and every pose is meant to be linked through breath. This is a physically demanding practice that concentrates on building flexibility and strength while encouraging concentration and mental stability. Our Power yoga classes are for the intermediate yoga student that would enjoy a more vigorous practice.

Vinyasa Yoga
This class combines the elements of Ashtanga Yoga and Power Yoga to build strength, stamina and flexibility. This challenging class includes the use of props, as well as weight bearing and balancing poses. One can progress deeply into their yoga practice and gain remarkable benefits in all aspects of life due to the concentration placed on good body alignment, breath and concentration of this style of yoga.

Hatha Flow
Hatha Flow classes are similar yet more challenging than a Hatha class since it uses your breath to move from one pose to another. This class will improve your strength, stamina, and flexibility by allowing you to move more rapidly in a continuous sequence of Hatha poses.

Anasura Yoga
By definition, Anusara specifically means to go with the flow of nature, the flow of grace or to follow your heart. In Anusara Yoga, the asana poses, when combined with the universal principles of alignment, allows a connection with the divine goodness of nature. For good reason, Anasura Yoga classes have become one of the most popular forms of yoga today. With Anusara classes infused with the philosophy of celebrating life and their teachers promoting the main principle of going with the flow, how can it not benefit your body and life in remarkable ways.

Restorative Yoga
Restorative Yoga is relaxed, unhurried, gentle, and is deeply nurturing and suitable for all ages as well as those with chronic pain or limitations. This class will relax you as you move to a more balanced self and stimulate the body to heal stresses of life, including mental and physical stresses. You will learn how to let things go and develop a sense of calm and tranquility.

Ashtanga Yoga
Ashtanga Yoga is practiced in a sequential order which is meant to lead the practitioner to discover their full potential of human consciousness. Through the practice of breathing, postures and going deeper into the familiar poses, you will gain a control of the senses and develop a deep awareness of yourself and the world around you.

Partner Yoga
Partner Yoga truly allows you to experience what yoga is all about, which is not only the union of your mind, body and spirit, but also the unification with the people around you. This class allows you to become more attuned with the world that surrounds you and to draw on the strength and stability of that world through your partner. Come and explore places that you may not have been able to go in your own practice.Bring a friend or partner. All levels of experience welcome.

Yoga Foundations
If you are a beginner, have not practised yoga for a while, or simply need a refresher course, this class is for you. There is no need for yoga to be an intimidating practise, where it seems out of reach. Yoga will help everyone and is for everyone. This class gets down to the basic fundamentals of yoga and goes through the basic 12 positions. By the time this session is completed, you will have an excellent grasp of various styles of yoga practises, breathing exercises and correct alignment in all of the 12 most popular postures.

Bootcamp Evolved
This Bootcamp class is all about taking the very best new and old techniques and fusing them all together for the ultimate in challenge and fun. This class will use everything from TRX suspension trainers, to kettlebells, flex bands, body weight bars, speed ropes, bosu balls...the list goes on and on. Gone are the days of high pressure on your joints and you instructor yelling at you to give you 100 push-ups. This class is a challenging yet softer approach to giving you the best body you have ever had, with the friendlier approach you have always wanted.

Pilates Foundations
If you are new to Pilates or just want a refresher course, this session is for you. This class will go through the Pilates repertoire and concentrate on the fundamentals of the discipline, which is breathing, core, alignment, and stability to name a few. Learn how simple contractions and movements can make all the difference in results, and watch how your muscles become lean and beautiful as they are strong.

Physique 57
Physique 57 is a class that uses various routines that combine dynamically challenging exercise for rapid body transformation. We will challenge you to use your body in new and exciting ways, using natural body resistance, unique choreography and routines, to fun and upbeat music. Through unique interval training sets, your muscles are targeted and overloaded to the point of fatigue and are then stretched for relief. This high energy, full body workout is efficient, effective and never boring.

Zumba
Zumba is a class that is based on the principles of muscle confusion, functional training and interval training, all while having an absolute blast! This class is great for both beginners and advanced participants by blending various dance steps, such merengue, salsa, reggaeton, cumbia, quebradita, calypso, and some modern moves such as hip hop to fun and upbeat music. This class also uses some basic fitness exercises so everyone can follow along, and there is never any need for dance experience. Come to one class and see what all the fun is about, and you will be hooked.

Pilates Level 2
Pilates Level 2 classes promote a feeling of physical and mental well-being as well as developing an inner physical awareness. This class strengthens and lengthens the muscles without creating bulk and adds a level of challenge with modifications and the use of props. You will see a substantial increase in your flexibility, circulation, balance, and muscle tone.

Pilates Level 3
Pilates is a form of exercise which emphasizes the balanced development of your body through core strength training, flexibility and awareness in order to support efficient, effortless movement in daily life. Pilates Level 3 classes takes this to a whole other level. Using props, small equipment and extra resistance, this class was designed to add the needed challenge that will give you immediate results.

Running Clinic
Our Running Clinics view running as a team sport. With the guidance of our teachers, our clinics will enable you to implement professional techniques and train with your peers to become a better runner. Our professional running instructors will always be there to point out the mistakes many runners make that cost them extra time and energy. Whether you are a beginner or an expert runner, we will work with your individual capabilities to improve your distance and time.

Gravity Group
Gravity Group uses one versatile piece of equipment that engages all five components of exercise; body composition, endurance, muscular strength, and flexibility. This class is open to everyone no matter what their fitness level may be because of the adjustable incline, props and various modifications. You can chart your progress as you raise your incline in each and every class. Be rest assured, this is an extremely functional workout that benefits every single aspect of your body and life.

Gravity Pilates
Gravity Pilates combines the benefits of Pilates with the Gravity System. With the help of this class and with our teachers guidance, you will significantly improve you body awareness, while gaining core and overall body strength. The versatile and dynamic Gravity machine allows you to pull both arm and leg pulleys at the same time thus enabling a more challenging and even workout, where your stronger side cannot takeover. With the Gravity machine, you always work with your own body weight and on an incline, which enables you to not only stay within your own level, but challenge yourself with every class. This class is open to all participants with a fundamental knowledge of basic Pilates exercises.

Yogilates Fusion
Most people are familiar with both yoga and Pilates and usually enjoy doing both disciplines because of their enormous benefits and results. For this reason, we have developed this class so can get more bang for your time. Using many of the yoga asanas as well as the Pilates repertoire, this class will give you the lean body you have always dreamt of with the calm mind you have always wanted. Enjoy.

Introduction to the Gravity System
This machine has been coined the ?best full body workout? by professionals around the globe and has won best equipment awards too many times to count. Come see what the excitement is about. Over the course of this session, you will learn the fundamentals of the Gravity machine, how to use it safely and how to challenge yourself using various inclines and modifications. Our teachers will guide you through all the exercises so you can leave with the confidence of doing a full class.

The Kettlebell Class
Is an extremely popular Russian free-motion weight lifting technique. This class increases strength, endurance, agility, and balance, while at the same time challenging both the muscular and cardiovascular systems with dynamic, total body movements. Kettlebell classes will push you to new levels, while motivating you to stay on track and keep good form. You will love the fluid and functional movements of kettlebells while getting all the benefits of a good cardio workout.

TRX
The TRX suspension trainer works on muscular strength, joint stability, mobility, and develops the deep core muscles helping you perform better in any sport and in all functions of an active life. Not only does TRX improve posture and prevent future injuries, it also enables you to perform thousands of total body exercise sequences, so your muscles are always challenged and the workout continuously stays fun.

Meditation
Meditation is a little bit like a practical science, which uses simple techniques to help us control the constant waves of our minds, allowing the subconscious to be released and create space between our thoughts. With the help of our teachers and this class, you will be well on your way to a path of greater spiritual heights, self awareness and self-realization.

Prenatal
The Prenatal class was designed to help excepting mothers prepare for the mental and physical experiences of pregnancy and childbirth, through exercise. This class will also offer a venue where you can meet other expectant mothers, will help you develop your personal needs and goals, and decrease anxiety...all while keeping fit and having fun. We will provide a safe and friendly atmosphere that will incorporate props and modifications to challenge every client, no matter what their fitness experience was before their pregnancy, and in all the various stages before birth.

Postnatal
The Postnatal class was specifically designed to assist all new and seasoned moms adjust to motherhood, while keeping fit and energized. We will offer a venue to discuss the effects baby is having on your life, as well as an open forum to ask any questions you may have from your instructor and session mates. These classes will cater to women who were active before their pregnancies as well as woman who want to begin a fitness regime for the first time. You will always be challenged using various props, while modifications will always be addressed so everyone can stay in a comfortable and safe environment.
